Important Dates & Events

POTLUCK DINNER:

As a reminder, we have our upcoming Potluck Dinner for Parents/Guardians and Players on Thursday 1/26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Buchholz High School Cafeteria. We are looking forward to a ‘Lacrosse Family’ dinner.

In order for this to be a success, we are requesting:

Freshman Players/Families- Drinks (Water, Gatorade, Tea, Lemonade, Etc.)

Sophomore Players/Families- Side Dish (Chips, Dip, Fruit, Veggies, Salad, Etc.)

Junior Players/Families- Main Dish (Meat, Vegetarian/Vegan Options, Pasta, Etc.),

Senior Players/Families- Dessert

BHS Lacrosse Board- Plates, Utensils, Cups, Napkins, Etc.

PRE-SEASON JAMBOREE:

Saturday, 2/4. Coach Marissa will send out information via Band App.

BHS FIELD CLEAN-UP DAY:

Also, BHS has requested that we help clean up the BHS Field to help prepare for our upcoming season. This will take place on Sunday, 2/5 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Attendance is mandatory for players and highly recommended for parents/guardians. This can also go towards Parent/Guardian Volunteer hours. This will not be a success without your help.

Goal: Attempt to pressure wash/clean up bleachers, clean up trash surrounding the field, fill in holes on the field with dirt, mark the field (Coach Marissa), etc.

We are requesting :

Parents/Guardians bring- Pressure Washers/hoses (need to confirm that we have place to hook up to water), Garden Tools- Shovels, Rakes, Shears, Wheelbarrows, Weed-Eating Supplies, Anything you can think of that could help ‘clean up’ the surrounding area of the field/bleachers.  

BHS Lacrosse Board- provide coolers with water/gatorade, heavy duty trash bags

JV AND VARSITY INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP PICTURES:

Friday, 2/3 starting at 3:30 p.m. You will get an email and/or text for access to your daughter’s SWI pictures.

If you have not already done so, please make sure you have signed up to the Band App for Buchholz Girls Lacrosse. This is the best way for Coach Marissa to communicate all up-to-date information.
